My Love From Another Star (2013)

I’m back with a passion!! *o* 3 words: KIM SOO HYUN! He stole my heart yet again in this drama series. Also the main female lead, Jeon Ji-hyun, has always been one of my favorite actresses (My Sassy Girl). Kim Soo Hyun’s character as a handsome alien professor, who by the way graduated from Harvard, is just plain awesome.

Okay, before I get into the official casting, watch online links, other info, let me give some dips on what I thought about the plot. The set-up of the story is intriguingly interesting and there are way too many possibilities of where the conflicts lie to even start guessing. A self-isolated alien who waited for 400 years to return home, and when he has his chance, love smacks him right in the face. A bratty top star who is actually lonely and fragile inside. So you got two lonely hearts who have a ticking clock counting down their time of being together, mixed with a healthy dose of first loves and fate, and in the mix, thrown in a possibility of reincarnation. Combine these, and you’ll get the perfect recipe for a hot mess.

Beautiful Man (2013)

A drama starring IU and Asian Prince,  Jang Guan Suk. In my own personal opinion (yes, I do have my own opinions..lolz), IU and Jang Guan Suk?? Hmmm… I’m not sure how that will turn out, but according to the plot summary, this is worth a try. Besides, I love IU and Jang Guan; just not sure if they actually have the chemistry or not. Oh, did I mention that it came from a manhwa?? :3 As a manga fan, I’m thrilled.

The Heirs: He Who Wears the Crown, Endures Its Weight

Other drama starring Lee Minho (a.k.a. my boyfriend :3 ) and Park Shin Hye. This is one of those dramas where there are full of rich, arrogant people. As usual, the guy is a rich inheritor of something big, and the girl is just a simple, hard-working girl. Although it seems like just a typical Korean drama plot, the main catch is its actors and actresses.  The cast is something you all should be looking forward to (I’ve been waiting for the premiere for months *o*). Lee Minho, Park Shin Hye, who hadn’t heard of them? Two of Korean most sought-after stars, sounds interesting enough? To top it off, Kang Minhyuk (CNBLUE) is also in there! *o* (a.k.a., my other boyfriend.. lolz) Jung Krystal (F(x)) is also in there, although in my own slightly bias opinion, she’s an unreasonable clingy character (that’s right, who told her to have Minhyuk’s girlfriend role?) Kim Woo Bin is casted as the supporting male role, contributing to the love triangle between Minho and Shin Hye. Beside these main actors, there are many more actors to be looking forward to. I hope this won’t be a disappointment. ^o^

I Miss You (2012)

drama starring two of my favorite actors as the leading roles, Yoon Eun Hye and Park Yoochun (I only came to like him after Rooftop Prince.. ^^). Not to mention Yoo Seung Ho also plays a major role. Yep, 3 of my favorite actors in one drama, I don’t see why noe? >.< Yoochun plays as Detective Jung Woo, while Eun Hye plays as a fashion designer, Soo Yeon. They were the first love, but got separated. Years later, fate brought them together again…

Secret Garden (2011)

*o*  One of my all-time favorite dramas… Can’t believe I didn’t post this though.. =.= I just watched Big Bang’s parody of it recently, that’s how I remember I didn’t post about this drama yet… It’s funny and dramatic..lolz As the plot was nearing the end, things became more serious and sad..T-T I literally cried in some parts… But trust me in this one, it’s worth watching…>.<

The story began with a rich, arrogant guy who fell in love with a poor girl. He loves her, but at first, he was still arrogant. Even when he was trying to woe her heart, he said that she cannot be like Cinderella, but instead the little mermaid. ” The little mermaid. Gil Ram Im will always be stuck between the two worlds. After you stay like invisible person, then just disappear from me like a bubble.” (From what I understand, the Korean version of  The Little Mermaid is a tragic tale of a mermaid who wants to be human, but got stuck between being human and mermaid. In the end, she just disappears into bubbles.)

As the story develops, he loves her more than he gave credits for. Something happened ( I don’t want to be a spoiler just yet), her life was in a critical condition. Kim Joo Won made his resolve, ” I’ll be your little mermaid, I’ll be next to you and then I’ll be disappear like a bubble.”

To the Beautiful You (Hana Kimi) 2012

Finally! Finally, it’s out! >.< Been a big fan of the manga version!! Hana Kimi was originally a manga written by Hisaya Nakajo. Hanazakari no Kimitachihe (Hana Kimi for short) has an English alternate title, For You In Full Blossom. It’s finally out in the Korean drama version!! I was a big fan of the original manga, and also the Taiwanese drama adaptation (all thanks to Jiro Wang *o*). Minho from Shinee and Sulli from F(x) will be starring as the main roles… ^o^

Synopsis: The series centers on Goo Jae-hee (Sulli), a Korean girl who lives in the United States. One day, she sees a track and field competition on TV, and becomes attracted to one of the high jump competitors, Kang Tae-joon (Minho). She begins to idolize the young athlete and eventually transfers to Korea to attend the same school that Tae Joon attends after he suffers an accident that could potentially end his career. There is a catch, however: Tae Joon attends an all-boys high school and Jae Hee must disguise herself as a boy to enter.
