Waterfall by Lisa T. Bergren (The River of Time Series)

I’m currently reading this book over the Khmer New Year break, and I love it! >< It’s about a girl who traveled in time to a Medieval Italy by accident. I’ve read many books with medieval setting, but this is the first time that it’s from the perspective of a 21st century teenage girl. As she tried to figure out how things work in medieval time, she found her knight in shining armor. >.<

Imagine yourself travelling back in time to about 700 years ago. Before a soft bed was invented. Before shampoo was introduced. Even before a fork was used for eating. Yes, there was no fork at that time. Everything is all about the castles, real battles, real knights and real dukes. Speaking in the normal way can’t get you through anymore because they would get lost at what you’re saying. When ‘perhaps” was  still “mayhaps”, and when you were addressed as “m’lady”. This could be an exciting adventure where everything you’ve heard about regarding medieval time is all real in front of you. Join Gabriella and her adventure as she explores the world medieval Italy and stumbled upon what could be her knight in shining armor.

Highly recommended… The actual book that I borrowed from the library is almost 400 pages, so I can’t scan it, obviously. But don’t worry, I went ahead and found a pdf version of it online. Feel free to download from the link below.
